Smart Link Privacy Notice

What we measure, how optional tracking works and how to manage your choices.

About this notice

This notice covers visits to ReleaseLoft Smart Links and optional Early Access signups on those pages. Release pages are published for the artist or label shown on the page.

Basic page statistics

We record page visits and music-service clicks to understand campaign performance. These records may include the page and service selected, the time of the event, referral and campaign information, browser details and an approximate location derived from your IP address. A click is not proof that a song was streamed.

Optional analytics and advertising

Optional Google, Meta or TikTok tools only start after you accept them. Depending on the integrations configured for the page, they can receive IP addresses, browser information, advertising identifiers and campaign details to measure performance and personalise advertising. Google Analytics may link consented visits to signed-in Google accounts for aggregated age and gender reports. You can review your linked Google activity at myactivity.google.com. Our conversion diagnostics are retained for up to 90 days.

Your tracking choices

You can use the music links without accepting optional tracking. Open Privacy at the bottom of a release page to manage your settings or turn off optional tracking. Changing your choice stops future optional tracking; it does not undo data already sent to a provider. That provider handles existing data under its own privacy policy.

Early Access and updates

Joining an Early Access list is a separate, optional signup. We use the details requested in that form to manage your subscription and provide the updates described there. Follow the email confirmation step when shown. The artist or label running the list can manage its subscribers. Use the unsubscribe or preference-management link in an email to stop updates. Accepting optional tracking does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Music services and other destinations

When you follow a music-service or community link, the destination handles your visit under its own privacy policy. ReleaseLoft does not control those services.

Questions and your data

To ask about the personal data we hold, request a correction or request removal, contact us using the details below. For mailing-list questions, you can also contact the artist or label running that list.
